La Capseta de Música
The colours
A closed palette, on purpose
In the Parents' corner (the little "Settings" button in each app), the background colour isn't chosen from every possible colour: it's chosen from a palette of five, made for each music box. We do it this way so that you don't accidentally choose a colour that isn't suitable: a pretty (but glaring) blue, a clean white (that wakes anyone up), a loud colour (that grabs attention). With the palette, any colour you choose is a good colour for your child.
Also, with a fixed, known palette we can better match the colours of the pictures. Everything is designed to make La Capseta a calm and gentle experience for our baby (or a stimulating and cheerful one for our "big kid").
For babies and toddlers
Backgrounds are always dark and warm: reds, oranges, ochres, browns and dark yellows.
- Warm and dark, because warm, dim light helps to calm down and to sleep.
- Never white: it dazzles, especially at night with the lights off.
- Never blue, not even dark blue: blue light is the one that keeps us awake the most.
For older children
Each music box uses its app's colours, because the child no longer uses it to sleep.
Always
The picture stands out enough against the background, whatever colour you choose, so the child can see it well.
The rules for how the music boxes look are in the Visual Seal.
